I would say Denton and Hillside. I live by there and it is awful. Trying to cross the street is awful. My Aunt is 81 and she won't cross there.

Many intersections are not pedestrian friendly, even with crossing signals. They don't operate the same way the ones in manhattan operate. Around here pedestrians are on their own , there's never a walk signal. When I get off the train I cross Jericho at NHP, and there's always some goon darting to make a light , when I have the right of way. Face it, suburbs are not meant for walkers , no matter which neighborhood you are in.

The intersection where New Hyde Park Road and Clnch branch off just south of the railroad tracks. It's even MORE dangerous when heading northbound from Clinch to NHP Road!!! What were they thinking? I wish I had a good suggestion for making it safer!!

I think the huge intersection at Marcus Avenue/New Hyde Park Road/Union Turnpike at Clinton G. Martin Park is THE worst
