The new year is almost here. We can look forward to it with anticipation just as we did opening a wrapped present. We don't know what will be inside but we hope that we like it, and that it fits! The new year is full of mystery also but we hope we like its surprises.
This is also a time to reflect on the year that was. We had many bad snow storms in the winter, hail storm in the summer, and a mild fall. The weather has been quite bizarre this past year. There were several changes in our government, local as well as national. Our economy has not recovered, some feel it is worse. There are many struggles throughout the world as we saw foreign governments crumble.
In our personal lives we have all had some good moments and some difficult ones. That makes up a year in our life. We hope for good things to come but must take whatever comes our way.
