Congratulations to Eamonn Lennon, Anthony Pallisco and James Sokol of Boy Scout Troop 298 of New Hyde Park who just completed the Theodore Roosevelt BSA, All Faith Award.
They are the first in their troop to complete this award. The purpose of this award is to promote a “Scout’s Duty to God” and to emphasize the twelfth point of the Scout Law, as A Scout is Reverent.
The requirements focus on participation in All Faith Events such as The All Faith Retreat, Ten Commandment Hike, Religious Service, 24-hour community service project, Earn Religious Award of their Faith and write a 100-word essay of what Duty to God means to me.
We are so proud of these boys and there hard work and dedication is rewarding.
