Research Study for Tourette's

North Shore University Hospital is doing a study about a drug called ecopipam, which could help reduce tics in people with Tourette's Disorder.

Local physicians associated with the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, part of the , are recruiting adults for an 8 week outpatient study with office visits every other week, alternating with telephone interviews.          

To qualify for this study, you must be between the ages of 18 and 65 years old and have an established diagnosis of Tourette’s Disorder. Qualified participants will receive study drug and study- related medical evaluations at no cost.  Compensation for time and travel may also be provided.
