Sharon Simon Receives Degree from University of the Sciences

Sharon Simon of New Hyde Park received a bachelor of science degree from University of the Sciences during a bachelor's degree conferment ceremony on Friday, May 18, 2012.

This year marked the first bachelor’s degree conferment ceremony for some 240 students in the master of occupational therapy, doctor of occupational therapy, doctor of physical therapy and doctor of pharmacy programs. The ceremony was for students who were eligible to earn a bachelor’s degree during the 2011-12 academic year even as they continue their matriculation toward their professional degrees.

Simon now continues on a path towards a doctor of pharmacy degree with an anticipated graduation in May 2014.

At University of the Sciences, students embark on a challenging learning experience in a proving ground for successful professionals in the science and healthcare-related fields. Students in USciences’ five colleges learn to excel in scientific analysis and to apply their skills to improving healthcare in the lives of people worldwide through such disciplines as pharmacy, biology, physical therapy, healthcare business and health policy.
