The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. and 1111 Marcus Hosted a Tree and Menorah Lighting to Benefit Make-A-Wish® Metro New York and Western New York

On Monday, December 2, 2013, The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. and 1111 Marcus in Lake Success, hosted a very special evening for Make-A-Wish® Metro New York and Western New York children and their families. With the help of Make-A-Wish Children Shannon, Madison and Carlyne, the 12-foot Menorah and 30-foot Christmas tree were lit much to the delight of the 100 guests in attendance. Santa made his rounds, handing out gifts to the children while the Great Neck South High School Jazz Band and Choir provided holiday music. Donations through the purchase of stars by 1111 Marcus tenants and guests will help make wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions come true. In Fiscal Year 2013, this chapter of Make-A-Wish touched the lives of 829 wish children and their families by granting 576 wishes of children in the Metro and Western New York areas, and by facilitating 253 wish assists for children who reside in other areas, but whose wishes took place in New York. Make-A-Wish has been a tenant at 1111 Marcus for 10 years. In April 2013, The Hain Celestial Group, a leading organic and natural products company, relocated their worldwide headquarters from Suffolk County. The company has a 16-year lease with 1111 Marcus.
