“A lot of people tell me that they feel like they are in Europe,” says owner Alexandria Pironi, who compares the seven-month-old, family-run shop to a European espresso bar.

Specializing in breads, cookies, cakes, and pastries, rows of authentic Italian baked goods greet customers at the door. As Pironi points out, many of the recipes used in the shop come from Sicily, Rome, and especially the province of Frosinone.

A few of the shop’s top-selling sweets include red velvet and rainbow cookie cake. Another customer favorite is Casa del Dolce’s homemade gelato with flavors including a vanilla, chocolate mix called straciatella. Patrons also favor espresso chip.

Satisfy your caffeine fix with one of a variety of espresso-based drinks from the coffee bar. How does a Nutella latté sound? As part of the café, panini, croissants, and sandwiches are also served.

Casa del Dolce uniquely offers a selection of imported Italian foods; from Nutella and Panettone to cookies and coffee, patrons can get their hands on select items that would typically be found in an Italian grocery store

And for those looking to settle down with a cup of coffee or to share a dessert, a comfortable back seating is available. Pironi notes that in the warmer months, customers can look forward to sitting outside as well.
