Owners Andrea and Joe assure customers that whether sharing a specialty pizza pie or twisting a fork into one of the restaurant’s pasta dishes, everything on the menu at Gino’s Trattoria and Pizzeria is made fresh to order from “all homemade recipes.”

 Easily spotted along Jericho Turnpike by its red awnings and sharp façade, inside, Gino’s casual dining room provides a comfortable setting to enjoy a wide selection of pizzas and northern Italian cuisine. With a spacious private dining room that can accommodate up to 100 guests, an extensive catering menu is also available.

 Gino’s makes both Neapolitan and Sicilian pizzas with a variety of specialty pies including the ravioli vodka and buffalo chicken. Personal size pizzas are also offered and for those looking to opt for a healthier alternative, any pie can be made with a whole wheat crust.

 Along with pizzeria fare such as calzones, heroes, and panini, customers can pick from a list of meat and fish platters, pasta dishes, salads, and pasta “al forno” with baked favorites like ziti and stuffed shells. Homemade specials also run daily.

Among Gino’s made-from-scratch specialties are fresh mozzarella, gnocchi, cavetilli pasta, and fennel sausage; for dessert, popular choices include house made zeppoles and ricotta cheesecake.
