Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth, D-Great Neck, enjoyed the company of Boy Scout Troop 202 from Denton Avenue School on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Nassau County Legislature in Mineola.
After a long week of elementary school, the enthusiastic boy scouts visited the legislature where they toured the legislative chamber.
Legis. Bosworth spoke with the scouts about the different levels of government, the role of elected officials in working with the community and the importance of civic responsibility and involvement.
The scouts are working on their citizenship requirements in order to move up to the rank of Webelos.
