Modells donates 1.000 caps to Tyler Cohen (17) for CAPS COUNT charity

Modells Sporting Goods is honoring Tyler Cohen, 17-year-old Herricks Senior with a formal donation of 1.000 caps for the charitable project he started called CAPS COUNT !  This is a formal MEDIA EVENT to kick off the partnership between Modells & CAPS COUNT!  Modells will be placing donation bins in all Nassau County Stores starting Monday.  The program will expand from there.

CAPS COUNT collects used CAPS, HATS & VISORS and ships them to children in orphanages around the globe.  It is a FEEL-GOOD charity all about KIDS helping KIDS.  CAPS are TOYS to the children who receive them.  We only think of them as head-wear.

The story of how Tyler started this project is compelling.  Many organizations are starting Caps Drives to support and contribute to CAPS COUNT!  Tyler runs CAPS COUNT with his 13-year-old brother Blake.  For more, follow us on Facebook@CapsCount.
