Get Out! New Hyde Park Weekend Planner for April 22-24

Where/When: LICM; Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.
Why Go: The Australia based Terrapin Puppet Theater performs “Boats”, the story of two life-long friends and sailors who met through a bizarre set of circumstances involving a chicken, a deserted island and a sombrero.
Pricing: The cost is $4 with museum admission ($ 3 for LICM members), and $8 for the theater only. Museum admission: $10. Seniors over 65: $9. Members: free. Children under one-years-old: free.


Where/When: ; Saturday 10 a.m.
Why Go: In recognition of Earth Day, volunteer to help clean up New Hyde Park.

Pricing: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+) and $4 for children (members free).
