Where/When: LICM; Friday at 2 p.m. Why Go: A performance for kids ages 3 and up. A live children's musical band performs high energy music for the entire family. Their show includes many original songs and familiar favorites. The show includes colorful costumes and props. Pricing: $4 with museum admission, $3 LICM members, $8 for theater only. General Admission: $11; Visitors over 65: $10, Members: FREE;Children under 1: FREE


Where/When: Jones Beach State Park at 1 Ocean Parkway, Wantagh; Friday at 7:30 p.m. Why Go: A FREE concert tribute to the Allman Brothers with The Lido Soul Review. Pricing: Free admission and free parking in field 4.


Where/When: Various locations throughout State Senator Jack Martins’ district; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Why Go: Senator Martins is partnering with Long Island Cares to collect food for those in need. There will be Long Island Cares drop boxes for food collection throughout the Seventh Senate District. Where/When: ; Sunday at 1 p.m. Why Go: Goldilocks plays rock and roll and oldies, so head down to the park for an afternoon of great music.


Where/When: The Great Neck Arts Center; 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Why Go: Tone and sculpt your body in a fun, energetic class that mixes Latin and international music. Pricing: Four-week session is $76 for GNAC members and $80 for non-members.
