Where/When: Nassau County Holocaust Center; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Why Go: The exhibit features the history of the Holocaust rescue mission of 10,000 Jewish children during WWII.


Where/When: ; Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Why Go: Enjoy live music, great food and fantastic drink specials. Pricing: Admission is free.


Where/When: ; Saturday at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Why Go: Special Guest Emilia Pacheco, home buying educator, will talk about Community Development Corp of Long Island Grants, how to qualify, steps to buying a home, importance of credit, affordable housing programs: SONYMA FHA and more. Pricing: Free.


Where/When: ; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Why Go: Drop in for an exploration of healthy lifestyles with local Girl Scout Krystin Sinclair, who is earning her Gold Award. Enjoy fun activities and exercises that help children and parents make healthy living choices. Pricing: All ages are welcome and the program is free with museum admission. General Admission: $11; Visitors over 65: $10; Members: FREE; Children under 1: FREE


Where/When: Nassau County Museum of Art, Sunday, 1 p.m. Why Go: Get the kids out of the house and expose them to some local culture. The museum offers family-friendly museum guides and art activities for kids. Pricing: Free with museum admission ($2 parking fee).
