It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Why Go: Kids will have a fun time making a great Father’s Day gift for dad.
Pricing: Workshop is free to library cardholders with a $2 materials fee.


Where/When: Long Island Children's Museum; Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Why Go: A new exhibit at the Long Island Children’s Museum that takes viewers on a tour of all the gross functions of the human body. Explore 10 nasal features, the pinball game “Gas Attack”, the role of the kidney in a virtual reality experience in “Urine: The Game”, take a ride on the GI slide, climb a large-scale replica of human skin, and more.
Pricing: LICM admission: $11 for adults and children over 1 year old, $10 seniors, FREE to museum members and children under 1 year old.


Where/When: Holy Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church; Friday 6-11 p.m., Saturday, 3-11 p.m. and Sunday 3-9 p.m.
Why Go: There will be plenty of Greek food and desserts, amusements, petting zoo, pony rides, rides for kids, flea market, vendors, music, dancing, cooking classes with world renowned Executive Chef George Kyrtatas (author of My Big Fat Greek Feast) and special performances of Greek Folkloric dance by the group, Traditional Movement (Paradosiaki Kinisi). There will also be raffles and prizes including a grand prize 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander (or $15,000 cash alternative); airfare for two to Greece plus a five-night stay at San Marco Luxury Hotel in Mykonos; flat screen television, home theater system, iPad, as well as laptop and desktop computers. Why Go: Grab a blanket and some popcorn. Cinema on the Bay is featuring the movie Grease.


Where/When: ; Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: Cantor Guy Bonne and special musical guests will perform the greatest love songs.
Pricing: $18 admission; $50 VIP tickets include pre-performance cocktail reception and a CD of concert songs.
