Why Go: Join Neeta Shah, MD, FACP VP, Women's Health Services for Health System for a talk on topics such as healthy lifestyle changes and gender-specific differences in women's health.
Pricing: Free.


Where/When: ; Friday, 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: Iceland hosts teen night with a DJ.
Pricing: $7 per person.


Where/When: Hicks Nurseries; Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.      
Why Go: Hicks Nurseries Flower and Garden Show features beautiful indoor display gardens, gardening seminars, cooking demos, and many activities for children.
Pricing: Free admission.

$9 MATINEES AT CLEARVIEW CINEMA
Where/When: ; Saturday and Sunday.
Why Go: Herricks Clearview Cinema offers wallet-friendly, $9 matinees; this applies to shows before 2 p.m.


Where/When: Nassau County Museum of Art, Sunday, 1 p.m.
Why Go: Get the kids out of the house and expose them to some local culture. The museum offers family-friendly museum guides and art activities for kids.
Pricing: Free with museum admission ($2 parking fee).
