Get Out! Weekend Planner for March 25-27

Mommy and Me, Comedy and Tattoo Blue. Pick and choose from this weekend's array of events.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.


Where/When: ; Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Why Go: Spend Friday morning with your favorite little person for a fun Mommy and Me program, a great place to meet other local families.


Where/When:; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Why Go: Emilia and Ken will discuss how to prepare to buy a house. Topics include grants, pre-approvals, credit scores, closing costs and more.
Pricing: Free.


Where/When: ; Saturday, 7:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. (Showtime starts at 10 p.m., but doors open at 7:30 p.m.).      
Why Go: Enjoy plenty of good food, drinks and laughs. The evening includes three professional comedians, a buffet dinner, drinks and music. There will also be prizes, raffles and games.
Pricing: $45 Advance/ $50 at the Door.


Where/When: ; Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: Tattoo Blue, a local Long Island band, plays traditional and rock blues.
There will be refreshments and all proceeds will be donated to the Ethical Humanist Society.
Pricing: Suggested donation is $10 per person.


Where/When: , Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.
Why Go: There’s a million fun things to do at the Long Island Children’s Museum; one of those fun things is listening to great family rock music with the Bari Koral Band.
Pricing: Museum admission: $10 for adults and children over 1 year old, $9 seniors, FREE to museum members and children under 1 year old.
