Giants Legend George Martin to Sign Autographs in New Hyde Park
New York Giants legend to sign autographs at Stop & Shop on Hillside Avenue.
Former New York Football Giants player George Martin will be signing autographs for fans at the Stop & Shop supermarket on September 7.
The former defensive end who played his entire 13-year career with Big Blue will be at the location at 675 Hillside Ave. from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the meet and greet with fans.
Martin currently serves as the executive director and president of the NFL Alumni which is headquartered in Newark, N.J. He is also the NFL’s all-time leader in touchdowns scored by a defensive lineman and helped the 1986 Giants team win a franchise record 14 games en route to becoming Super Bowl XXI champions.

On Sept. 16, 2007, Martin began walking from New York City's George Washington Bridge to San Diego in order to raise money for medical care for the first responders to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He completed the 3,020 mile journey on June 21, 2008 arriving in San Diego.
