Craig Gentile and Kathryn Madden, two congregants and soon-tob-be graduates of , received Breiting awards, which include scholarships, on Sunday during the 10 a.m. service.
This award is given to congregants who are involved in service for the community as well as the church.
Gentile will be going to Nassau Community College next year and plans on being a New York City firefighter. Madden is going to Adelphi University and plans to major in math education and special education.
