Little Playmates, Tot Shabbat and the great outdoors— pick and choose from this week's array of events.

Welcome to our , a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities in the New Hyde Park area. Each week, we'll give you the info on the best family activities or events for the week. You're time-pressed enough, so we're happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

Where/When: ; Tuesdays through Sundays 11 a.m. to 4:45  p.m.
Why Go: There's a sculpture park with more than 50 works of arts, walking trails and gardens. 
Pricing: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+) and $4 for children (members free).

Why Go: A fun program with playtime time for children accompanied by an adult.
Pricing: Free to library cardholders.
 

 
Where/When: ; Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 p.m.
Why Go: Come enjoy the museum and listen to great music.
Pricing: Free with museum admission. Museum admission is $10 for adults and children over 1 year old, $9 seniors, free to museum members and children under one-year-old.

Why Go: A short Shabbat program for children with music, stories and prayer.
