New Hyde Park 8k Championship Race A Success

By all counts, the 37th Annual New Hyde Park 8k Championship Race on Sunday race certainly had beautiful weather on their side.

Organized by the New Hyde Park Runners Club, the race was sponsored by U.S. Track and Field.

Among those cheering on the racers were North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilwoman Lee Seeman. Bosworth presented awards to overall winners and those who placed in each age group of the nearly 5-mile race.
