New Hyde Park Chamber Awards 2012 Scholarships to Seniors
Graduating seniors from New Hyde park, Sewanhaka, Herricks and Great Neck given awards.
The recently awarded scholarships to three high school seniors, who completed various community service projects.
The hamber has been awarding the scholarships for the past 8 years, starting with the Academy of Finance at and has grown to include the other high schools in the area, including Herricks, Sewanhaka and Great Neck.
The awards were given out as follows:

- Roshni Amin of (award given at the high school award ceremony on May 25)
- Jevin Varghese of (evening award ceremony at the high school auditorium on May 31)
- Simranjit Kaur of Great Neck South High School (special presentation in the principal office on June 11)
- Jennifer Morga and Joseph D’Amico of the Academy of Finance at New Hyde Park Memorial High School (presented at the dinner held at the on June 11)
Each were awarded $500 from The New Hyde Park Chamber’s Benevolence Committee.
