New Hyde Park Dad’s Club Holds Fundraiser at Governors

The club raised $1,208, for scholarships, awards and programs at New Hyde Park Memorial.

The Dad’s Club at New Hyde Park Memorial High School recently held a fundraising event at the Governor’s Comedy Club in Levittown.

The comedians showed the club a good time, especially Mick Thomas and Chris Roach.

“Michael Horan ran the event and did a great job in putting it together,” club president Richard Schlueck said in a statement.

The club raised $1,208, selling $900 in tickets and $308 of of 50/50 raffles.

Sal, a Dad’s Club member, won the raffle of $154 and donated the money back to the club.

The money will be used for scholarships, awards and programs at the school.
