New Hyde Park Man Wins Take Five Lotto Drawing

A New Hyde Park man has a little bit more spending money after winning a five-figure sum in the New York Lottery Take 5 drawing.

Andrew Bartos was announced as the winner of the August 9 drawing of the New York Lottery game on Monday, taking home $17,351 in prize money.

The winning numbers for that day’s drawing were 7,9,11,12 and 22. The odds of winning on the $1 play were one in 575,757.

Bartos purchased the winning ticket at the at 900 Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park. He correctly matched all five numbers to take home the top prize.
