New Hyde Park Republicans to Honor Teacher and Fire Chief

Dinner for Eileen Sullivan and Stewart Manor Fire Chief Thomas Skinner to be held at Umberto's.

The Stewart Manor–New Hyde Park Republican Committee will honor Stewart Manor Fire Chief of Department Thomas Skinner and teacher Eileen Sullivan, wife of County Court Judge Dave Sullivan with a dinner on Wednesday, October 10 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Umberto’s Restaurant in New Hyde Park.

Chief Skinner was born and raised in New Hyde Park. After Skinner and his wife Madeline purchased their home in 2002, he rapidly involved himself in the Stewart Manor community, joining the Stewart Manor Fire Department and serving as Lieutenant, Captain, assistant Chief and now as Chief of Department.

He has been awarded Firefighter of the Year and is an avid supporter and coordinator of the Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior organization (www.ncff-oww.com).
