Edito Ravanes has a little more spending money.
The New York Lottery announced on Tuesday that the New Hyde Park resident had won a $10,000 prize playing the Mega Millions on August 24.
Ravanes purchased the winning ticket at the Hsieh Gourmet at 85-14 Grand Ave in Elmhurst.
In order to win the $10,000 third-place prize, Ravanes had to get four numbers correct, plus the Megaball. The odds of receiving the payout was 689,065 to 1.
