Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in New Hyde Park. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in New Hyde Park to plan your weekend.

Concerts

The lone musician Richie Grey will be at the Walk Street Tavern this Friday night at 9:30 p.m. On Saturday night come on down and listen to the great sounds of "The Urge."

The New York Rock cover band, "The Confessions" will be at Spanky's Bar & Grill on Saturday night at 9 p.m.

The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring in "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug."
