From now into the late weeks of fall, a picnic is a wonderful way to get in touch with nature while sharing a meal with someone special.

Whether you are spending the day at the park and step into the shade for a bite or decide to take your meal outdoors, all it takes is a little planning and the right attitude. Whatever you choose to eat can be brought from home or bought at a store; just throw in a blanket, a cold beverage and hope it doesn't rain!
