The is nothing quite like a parade, especially when practically the entire area comes out to see and participate.

A few hundred gathered to march and watch the this past Memorial Day Monday and honor those who had fought and paid the ultimate price four freedom and our country.

Here are a few more of our favorite shots from the 2013 Memorial Day Parade in Garden City Park from along the parade route starting on Denton Avenue to Jericho Turnpike, up Nassau Boulevard and along Fourth Street.
