Snowfall in New Hyde Park Didn't Affect Activities
Despite the snow, the New Hyde Park High School games are on.
Snowflakes have been coming down in New Hyde Park this afternoon, but they aren't threatening after school activities or athletic games.
A spokeswoman said at 2 p.m. that activities will continue as scheduled. The athletic events, including and games at Roslyn High School tonight, will still be on, according to the high school's athletics department.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 60% chance it will snow through tonight and that chance of snow lessens to 30% through the end of Saturday.
