Town Celebrates 100th Anniversary of the Community Church of Great Neck

Members of the Community Church of Great Neck celebrated the house of worship's 100th anniversary on Saturday, May 3, at Ielpi Park.

Town of North Hempstead officials worked with Event Chairperson Joann Chan leading up to the event to promote the church and its history to the Great Neck Community and to make the event successful. The family-friendly day, held under bright blue skies, attracted a large crowd with musical and cultural entertainment, inflatables, face painting, kid safety and vendors.

Joining in the celebration were Councilwomen Lee Seeman and Anna Kaplan, along with Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman.
