Weather Alert Issued as Second Heat Wave Hits
Weather will be in the 90s until Sunday.
A second will hit New Hyde Park on Thursday and will be staying through the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to hit 86 on Thurday, 94 degrees on Friday, 94 degrees on Saturday and 94 degrees on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Even Monday will bring little relief, with temperatures predicted to be 91 degrees.
