27th Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest to Benefit Families of 9/11 Victims

Registration fees and donations dedicated to two Long Island-based 9/11 charities

The Village of Great Neck Plaza and the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) announces the 27th Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest and Street Festival will be dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. This year’s event will take place in the Village of Great Neck Plaza.

To honor the victims of the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001, all car registrations and profits from rides and attractions at this year’s AutoFest and Street Fair will be donated to two Long Island based charities, Tuesday’s Children TuesdaysChildren.org and the September 11th Families Association 911families.org.

Rain date: Sunday, September 25, 2011, 12-4:30 p.m.

FEE: AutoFest vehicle registration fee will be waived in lieu of charitable contributions to one or both of the 9/11 memorial funds. Admittance to AutoFest and Street Festival is free to everyone; nominal fee for rides.
