Author Ghita Schwarz @ the Great Neck Library

Author Ghita Schwarz will discuss and read from her novel Displaced Persons. The book tells the stories of four Holocaust survivors, from their first meeting in the Bergen-Belsen displaced persons camp, to their attempts at establishing family normalcy in the U.S., to their later-in-life memorializations of their wartime experiences. Displaced Persons has garnered praise from readers, critics, and writers alike. Audience Q&A, book raffle, book signing, and refreshments will follow Ms. Schwarz's presentation.
