Fun and Learning for Families During February Break Week at Long Island Children's Museum

Cyberchase—The Chase is on! which is based on the EMMY® winning PBS KIDS GO! math and mystery cartoon CYBERCHASETM

Children will enter Cyberspace through a special portal to explore favorite cybersites, including the Control Central, the Grim Wreaker and Poddleville, and be greeted by Motherboard, the peace-loving leader of Cyberspace.

Throughout the week LICM will also offer workshops and an interactive theater performance that explore the key concepts introduced in Cyberchase—The Chase is on! TM

Put on your thinking caps! Join us for some CYBERCHASE™ fun as experiment with different activities that explore the fun behind patterns and problem solving.

All ages. Free with museum admission.

Don’t Break the Bank

Tuesday, February 22 at 1 p.m.

Join us in this workshop as we mark the opening of our newest exhibit, Cyberchase: The Chase is On!™, based on the hit PBS show about problem-solving and mathematics. Find out more about characters like Inez, Dr. Marbles and the villain Hacker, watch video clips from past episodes, learn about saving and spending and craft your own money bank to look like Hacker’s henchman Buzz.  

Ages: 7 and up. Fee: $3 with museum admission ($2 LICM members)

The CYBERCHASE™ Challenge

Sunday, February 27 at 1 p.m.

Join Digit from the hit show, CYBERCHASE™, as they solve fun and creative math problems to save Motherboard from Hacker’s virus.  Children will learn algebra and geometry in the exciting interactive game show challenge, followed by an episode of CYBERCHASE™ on the big screen! Meet Digit and take a picture with him.  Tickets are limited and can be obtained at the LICM Box Office on a first come, first serve basis.

Ages: 3 and up. Free with museum admission.
