Furry Fun Science at Long Island Children's Museum

Why do humans have hair? Why do animals have fur? Discover the answers to these questions at the LICM Furry Fun Science station as we explore the function of fur on the bodies of mammals. There will also be a discussion of the special properties of a polar bear’s fur and play a fun fur matching game.
