No. 84 Summer Concerts at the Park

Attend and enjoy a variety of free concerts during the summer, including those presented by the Village of New Hyde Park.

As part of the summer series, the  still has one play and two more concerts this summer. 

The 2011 summer schedule kicked off with a . Just last week crowds of people saw Beatlemania perform the greatest hits of the Beatles.

This Wednesday is the next performance in the summer series featuring The Wizard of Oz presented by Plaza Theatrical Productions. Bring your kids and join Oz's very own Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion as they put on a musical show at Memorial Park at 7 p.m.**

Next month, , a Billy Joel cover band, will take the stage on August 3 at 7:30 p.m. Asbury Park, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band will finish off the season on August 25. They will take the stage at 7 p.m.

** In the event of rain, all performances will be held at the William Gill Jr. Theatre.  

Be sure to bring a blanket or a chair and relax!
