Republican Committee Honors Angela Powers

The Stewart Manor-New Hyde Park Republican Committee will honor its distinguished leader of 18 years, Angela Arinoldo Powers, a Republican Party stalwart for 40 years, and a New Hyde Park community leader for six decades, with a celebration dinner on Wednesday October 26th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Umberto’s of New Hyde Park.  Angela has been a rock of our community from the 1960’s to this every day.

Angela’s involvement in her church, in community organizations, and the Republican party spans over six decades.  She has welcomed new comers to our community, supported numerous local charitable organizations, supported our business community through the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce – serving as its first female president, and has fostered and nurtured scores of candidates for elective office.

We honor her commitment to our community with a commemorative journal and dinner at Umberto’s.
