Local Pharmacy Planned to Open in Garden City Park

Former All State location at 2226 Jericho Turnpike set to become local pharmacy.

The vacant former All State office on Jericho Turnpike in Garden City Park is set to reopen as a small local pharmacy.

The office located at 2226 Jericho Turnpike, with its All State logo-laden awnings blacked-out, has been vacant for the past year.

However, according to representatives at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, a contract has been signed and the location will be converted into a small, local pharmacy.

The commercial space offers two office areas with separate heating zones and a half bath. There is also residential space on the second level, with three bedrooms, two baths and it’s own heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The square footage for this property is 2,600 and the price was $340,000.

Charles Malone, one of the two realtors representing the property along with Michael Murphy, explained that although the two spaces at this location are separate, the new pharmacy “may convert the entire space to just a commercial building,” possibly by elevating the ceiling to give the space more room.

Although Malone did not have an exact date of when the new pharmacy is opening, he did say it is possible the business could be opening around December.
