New Hyde Park Chamber Donates $2,000 to Local Recipients
Donations facilitated by chamber benevolence committee.
The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce recently made three donations to various local recipients including in Mineola, New Hyde Park Memorial High School and at Herricks High School.
The Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Committee presented a $1,000 donation to the Harbor Child Care School in Mineola to purchase new cribs. New Hyde Park-based Harbor Child Care has seven locations in Nassau County.
The chamber also presented two $500 scholarship awards to Christiana Kastalek and Jonathan Chambers at the Academy of Finance graduation dinner. The awards were based on community service. The Academy of Finance is a special program offered at New Hyde Park Memorial High School.
Nabiha Keshwani of Herricks High School also received a $500 cash award for outstanding achievement in community service.
