Readers’ Choice: Best Pancakes in New Hyde Park

Where do you go to order a stack of smile-inducing pancakes?

They come topped with fruit, stuffed, buttered up or slathered in syrup. They can make a grown man’s eyes dilate to silver-dollar proportions at the sight of a hot stack.

We’re talking pancakes, of course. Pancakes are that breakfast staple that go great any time of day; Solo or loaded, with eggs or a side of sausage.

Time to weigh in. New Hyde Park Patch is looking to unearth the best pancakes in town. Readers’ Choice is a new weekly feature where we ask you – our readers – to tell us your top picks.

Each Monday we’ll list our nominees – this week it’s pancakes – and ask for your recommendation. Did we leave your go-to spot off the list? Go ahead and add it in comments.

Wednesday we’ll narrow the field, taking your recommendations to put to a vote in the ultimate food fight poll.

Friday we’ll announce our winner.

Our nominees:

Sorry Lara Young, but that's in Williston Park, not in New Hyde Park. Do you want to nominate another place?

The Triple Crown Diner on Jerichio Tuirnpike in Floral Park has the best pancakes and food in the area.

From Facebook: Lara Young – Ah yes, my bad. No, sorry... Toast n jamz is my favorite for breakfast!

Sorry Anne, but the nominations are only open to those in New Hyde Park. Since Triple Crown Diner is in Floral Park, it does not qualify.
