Let us know the best frozen treats in Garden City, Mineola and New Hyde Park so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where can you find the best frozen treats in Garden City, Mineola and New Hyde Park?

Maybe it's yogurt that drives your kids crazy or an ice cream shop with gallons of custom flavors. We want to know what frozen pitstop makes you smile.

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows the about our area to nominate the best spots.

The nomination period ran through July 9.

Now it’s time to vote. Cast your vote by Aug. 17 and help us decide who's best. Whichever business gets the most votes will be named our Readers' Choice winner.

Thanks in advance for your participation!

Sorry Kathy, Roslyn is not in Mineola, New Hyde Park or Garden City.

Geoffrey Walter: You correctly criticized Kathy on her geography because it didn't fit into the question asked. Should you also have brought it to the attention of Ms. Donahue that Franklin Square doesn't fit the criteria either? Perhaps you can help me out with this. This is the Mineola Patch. As Williston Park is closer to Mineola than New Hyde Park why is it not a part of the question?

How can you not include Hildebrandt's. HOMEMADE and wonderful!
Geoffrey Walter August 03, 2012 at 03:13 AM
Hildebrant’s is located in Williston Park, not Mineola, Garden City or New Hyde Park.

We do not currently have a Patch covering the Willistons. We have Patches in Mineola, Garden City and New Hyde Park. Ms. Donahue made mention of two locations: Baskin Robbins in Franklin Square (not valid) and Love My Yogurt in Garden City (valid).
