Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Preschool

Let us know the best preschool in Garden City, Mineola and New Hyde Park so we can put it to a vote and identify the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Parents are very particular when it comes to picking a preschool for their children. How did you select the right place for your child in Garden City, Mineola or New Hyde Park?

Was class size or staff qualifications a factor? Cost or location?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows the about our area to nominate the best spots.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation!

All three of our children attended the Garden City Nursery School. I loved the experience and the philosophy of the school so much that I started working there 15 years ago as an assistant teacher. Can't wait for the Fall term to start.

The Garden City Nursery School is much more than a school. It's a community where parents and educators collaborate to nurture a child, meeting them where they are, and allowing them to experience the world intellectually, sociallly and emotionally, at their own individual pace. This year my fourth child will begin there, and I cannot wait to watch her journey unfold - butterflies, cranberry relish, lizards and all!

GC Nursery School - being a cooperative, they not only teach children but the educate parents as well. What a special place, parents call to get their kids in from the delivery room!!
