Wantagh-Seaford: Open for Business

Local businesses open Thursday following damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.

While Wantagh and Seaford residents are still recovering from damage caused by Superstorm Sandy with many still without power, several local businesses are open Thursday.

Some businesses in the Wantagh-Seaford that are open include: 

  • Pathmark
  • Umberto's Restaurant & Pizzeria (can only make regular and grandma pies)
  • Seaford Palace Diner
  • Iavarone Bros.
  • Runyon's (limited menu)
  • Seaford Cinemas
  • Cara Mia Due
  • Capri Bakery
  • World Gym Fitness Center
  • Otto's Deli
  • Bank of America 
  • Mario's Pizza
  • Salpino III Italian Delio

Il Felice restaurant is open and serving good food!

also just got word that the Farmers' Market will be here on Saturday from 7 am to noon at the Seaford RR parking lot.

Astoria federal and All star phsyical therapy is open too.

The Wantagh Inn is the only restaurant in the Wantagh village area to invest the money, and manpower to help the people in the area to eat, drink, relieve themselves, charge phones, etc. God Bless the people who help others and not run.

Baxter & Walsh Physical Therapy's Wantagh location is not open because they don't have power, but their offices at 8 Saxon Ave. in Bay Shore, and 618 Broadway in Amityville are OPEN! Please call (516) 826-0116.
