This is a rather eventful weekend in New Hyde Park. Here are a few things you can look forward to doing:
1. is offering two classes on Friday. At 1 p.m. parents can bring their kids from ages 18 months to four-years-old to play “,” which consists of an hour of singing and activities to help stimulate your child’s growth. At 5 p.m. children in grades 3 and up can learn facts about and do experiments. To register for either — or both — events, call 516-355-7850.
2. boys basketball team in a home game on Friday starting at 4:30 p.m.
3. Also in sports, the girls basketball team in a home game on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
4. The continues on Saturday at the at 10:30 a.m.
5. There is a big Giants game this Sunday—which will determine whether or not the New York team advances to the Superbowl. Check out our post a little later on which places to watch in the area that are offering food and drink specials.
