Little Paws Meet Santa Claus Canceled

Santa was expected to visit the New Hyde Park Animal Hospital today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but unfortunately, due to a lack of interest, the event was cancelled.

The event, which residents attended , anticipated to help raise money for the Animal Lover’s League in Glen Cove. For $20 a picture, 100 percent of the proceeds were going to go to the Animal Lover’s League.

According to the hospital’s Facebook page, it was announced at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 6 that, “Due to lack of interest, Santa will not be arriving at New Hyde Park Animal Hospital this weekend. However, Santa will be paying a visit to Mineola Animal Hospital on Saturday December 10! Please visit their location, located at 132 Jericho Turnpike. Santa looks forward to seeing you and your pet there!”

“We had the sign up that we were having it and no one called to schedule any,” said Cathy Brigante of the New Hyde Park Animal Hospital. “We are having it in our Mineola office, but for this office it got cancelled.”
