Nov. 15: Holiday Guide and Two Percent Tax Cap

Here are some events happening around New Hyde Park.

1. Be sure to follow our Holiday Guide 2011 for upcoming events, food drives, shopping and more.

2. There is a free adult scripture study taking place at Holy Spirit Church at 9:45 a.m. This is a weekly event.

4. Worried about high taxes? The Hillside Public Library is holding a lecture on tax-saving strategies, given by financial advisor Ida Epstein, at 6:45 p.m. Register here

5. Attend the New Hyde Park Village Hall meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. There will be a discussion on the two percent tax cap on the municipal budget, which goes into effect June 1, 2012.
