Nov. 25-27: Weekend Edition

Here are some of the events going on in New Hyde Park this weekend.

It's Black Friday!

1. Start — or continue — that Black Friday shopping and try to score the best deals around. Check out New Hyde Park’s list of in the area and let patch know later about your shopping experience.

2. The is presenting a show called “Hao Bang Ya, Rabbits!” at the Long Island Children’s Museum today at 1:00 p.m. and Sat, Nov. 26 at 1:00 p.m. The show will feature a selection of puppet vignettes; many based on popular songs and well-known Chinese sayings much like the title “Hao Bang Ya,” which means “Great.” Admission is $11 for adults and children.

3. The Long Island Children’s Museum is hosting a healthy and educational workshop inspired by the famous in teaching children how to shape a variety of musical instruments using carrots, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants and beans. The class begins at 2:30-4:30 p.m. and admission is $11 for children and adults.
