Update: Person Taken to Hospital after Car Flipped on Long Island Expressway

Update: According to the Nassau County police, a person was taken to an area hospital as a result of a car flipping over on the Long Island Expressway near the off ramp of the Lakeville Road exit.

The overturned car on the Long Island Expressway near the off ramp of exit 33 has been taken off the parkway by a tow truck.

The car was cleared away at about 11:30 p.m. There were approximately four cop cars at the scene as well as an ambulance. The ambulance left after the car was cleared off the parkway.

Traffic did not seem to be impacted by the overturned car.
