Question of the Day: Possible Snow Flurries for NHP

Are you ready for the snow?

around this time we had already experienced a full-fledged blizzard, but have escaped that fate this time.

However, the National Weather Center is expecting flurries for the area today.

While it is predicted to be partly sunny out, it will also be “blistery,” with wind gusts as high as 32 mph. In other words, it’ll be cold enough for snow.

LIPA isn’t expecting any blackouts or any increases in traffic and accidents just yet — but may be in the near future.

What do you think about this weather forecast? Are you ready to brave the cold, snowy winter that is ahead?
