Property Tax Exemptions Workshop

This program is presented by NC Department of Assessment.

No registration
necessary –

 all will be accommodated on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Using
specially configured computers linked to the county’s database, Department of
Assessment staff will process property tax exemption applications for Veterans;
Senior Citizens; Volunteer Firefighters and others. This will be at Hillside
Public Library, 155 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY 11040; (516)355-7850.

In addition,
Nassau County also offers two types of School Tax Relief (STAR) property tax
exemptions.  You can find out the type
for which you qualify.
